Zalmi Foundation, ICRC and friends of paraplegics jointly organized ability sports festival, and wheelchair cricket match on the international day of people with disability in Hayatabad Sports Complex Peshawar. In this momentous event the zealous spirit of the incapacitated participants won the hearts of everyone, who had gathered from all over KP to prove their mettle despite their disabilities. A cricketing battle between FATA Zalmi and KP Zalmi was being fought where the spirited participants played wheelchair cricket and attracted the crowd. We people with disabilities possess many talents and abilities. We will continue striving to provide them platforms for more progress. Apart from cricket many other games like, badminton, table tennis and magic show were being played in the event in which the participants participated with great passion. Guest pf the moment Director cricketing affairs, Mr. Muhammad Akram, Head of delegation of ICRC, Mr. Patric Somxysana, Mr. Ahmad Abul Qadir, P and O delegate Mr. Denver Graham and Mr. Yaseen Kamran distributed prizes among the best players.
