Zalmi foundation signs MOU with Punjab TEVTA
Punjab Tevta, China Tang and Zalmi Foundation signed an MoU to revolutionize skills development to celebrate ‘Skills Day’. Tevta Chairman Ali Salman Siddique and Zalmi Foundation Chief Innovation Officer Dr Cedric Aimal Edwin signed the agreement. Punjab Minister of Industries, Commerce, Investment & Skills Development Mian Aslam Iqbal also graced the event with his presence. This three-party MoU will result in the launch of innovative skills development programmes which are developed jointly by Punjab Tevta, China Tang and Zalmi Foundation. These diploma courses have been developed keeping in mind the industry needs of Pakistan and the future needs of CPEC related industries.
Through joint efforts, the social and economic benefits of CPEC will reach the citizens of Pakistan. The joint diploma programmes are based on a 2+1 model in which the student will study for 2 years in Pakistan and 1 year in China. With these diploma programmes, students will work in CPEC related industries at the middle management level.
