Execuitve Director, Mr. Shakeel Ahmad Ramay represented Zalmi Foundation as a panelist in Board of Investment Conference organized by GEO group. Mr. Ramay highlighted the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in business and urged business groups to incorporate CSR in their business models to contribute to positive development externalities. Meanwhile, he also quoted an example from Business model of Ruba Group. Ruba Group has established a Vocational Training Centre under its CSR which trains manpower for meeting the needs of industry thus creating employment opportunities. Mr. Shakeel also urged other business groups to come up with their own CSR funds and models to contribute to the betterment of the society.
